. Fondly known as “Finn” or “the Finnster”, is a 17.1 H half Trakehner, half Thoroughbred gelding. I purchased Finn when he was 2-1/2 years old and together we have been on a wonderful journey of learning. I have done most of Finn's training and he is truly my dream-horse! He is everything I have ever wanted in a horse and the bond we share is sometimes overwhelming. He has a sweet, easygoing personality and is really just a big teddy bear that loves hugs and kisses.
. ![]() Romeo : Romeo is a 16.1 H paint cross gelding. I do not know much about Romeo's past, but he appears to have been treated poorly at some point in his life. What I do know is that he was handled as a youngster and then used as a breeding stallion until the age of eight, when he was sent to a feedlot in Yakima that ships horses to slaughter. A wonderful woman rescued him before he actually went on the slaughter truck. While at the feedlot, he was put in a wild stallion pen. The wild stallions showed no mercy on him and he ended up with numerous bite marks and an injury to his left eye, compromising his sight.
Romeo is on the road to recovery and we are taking things very slow. He has a strong desire to trust and give his love to me, but needs reassurance to feel safe. Romeo is a beautiful horse with tremendous movement and a deep, soulful personality. I hope that given enough time, healing, love and patience, he will open up to me and understand that not all humans are bad. |
